Personal injuries resulted in the wrongful death of a bicyclist in Pennsylvania. Police in Lancaster County Pennsylvania have charged an 18-year-old Morgantown, Berks County car driver for an accident that injured a bicyclist.

Bike accident lawyers say Stephanie M. Britton, 18, faces charges of careless driving and driving vehicle at unsafe speed, and if convicted, she would have to pay fines up to $500. Her lawyer expects that this young driver who killed the bicycle injury victim will plead guilty.

The April 21 crash on Union Grove Road at Route 625 killed 28-year-old Norman Hurst of East Earl.

Police said Britton was driving at 48 mph in a 30 mph zone and lost control in a curve, forcing her car across the median and into Hurst’s bicycle, causing serious personal injuries resulting in his death in the bike accident.
